Once the local anaesthetic has worn off, you might notice a little sensitivity in the tooth which should soon subside as the tooth settles down.

How Long Does a Tooth Filling Last?

Composite resin fillings will last for several years before they need replacing. Porcelain fillings are stronger and although they do cost a little more, they should last for many years.
